Karlyn D Percil
Karlyn Percil is the founder and creator of My Beauty Bank. She is also a speaker, host, author, and creator of the OWN Your Individuality Workshop series. Ten years ago, Karlyn underwent surgery to rule out breast cancer. Thereafter, she avoided the Doctor’s office in fear of finding another lump. Taking ownership of her life, Karlyn decided to stop living in fear and took full control of her life- from a holistic perspective: Mind, Body & Soul. She decided to create My Beauty Bank to redefine the definition of beauty, share her beauty tips to help you and empower you to take control your life as well. Karlyn’s mission is to help women take OWNership of their lives, be the best version of themselves, and to Stay Beautiful: Mind, Body & Soul. She strongly believes that in order to be your best, you first need to believe in yourself and embrace who you are as an individual. Karlyn is convinced that once we take 100% responsibility for ourselves, we will give our best and live our best lives!

 

Chivon John
Chivon John is a certified Project Manager and Fitness Enthusiast who is passionate about redefining what it means to be healthy and encouraging open dialogues about body image and self-esteem. Her goal is to use her knowledge and voice to empower others to redefine how they view health – seeking a shift away from solely focusing on the aesthetic but also recognizing the power of a healthy mind, nutrition and sense of self.In 2008 after a chance meeting with Fitness Entrepreneur and her fitness mentor Lyzabeth Lopez, Chivon set forth on a journey which has resulted in a lifestyle overhaul of her nutrition, confronting her issues with body image and transforming her body and strength through resistance training.Armed with a new sense of confidence and knowledge, Chivon has competed in over 6 fitness competitions, contributes fitness and wellness articles for print and online publications and is an internationally published model and writer.Through her journey to confront her personal struggles with body image and self esteem, Chivon is eager to pay it forward to share the knowledge she has gained and is currently studying to become a certified Holistic Nutritionist at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and recently completed a certification in Personal Training.
