BEAUTY FOODS: Oatmeal for skin care

Not only is it low in calories and packed with fiber, oatmeal has the added benefit of being a great skin care aid by removing dead cells and leaving it silky smooth.

Here is a quick recipe that you can try using ground oats:

  • 3 tbsp of ground oats
  • 1 tbsp of raw sugar
  • 3 tbsp of mashed avocado
  • 8-10 drops of a flavoured oil of your choice (eg. Lavender)

Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl. Massage the mixture onto damp skin in a circular motion.

Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
